Yes. Assessments can be conducted face-to-face or via secure video depending on the nature of the instruction and the needs of the case. Report quality and clinical rigour are not affected by the format of the assessment.
Turnaround times vary depending on case complexity, the volume of records to review, and current instruction load. An indicative timeframe will be confirmed and agreed at the point of instruction.
We accept instructions across a broad range of civil and criminal matters where an independent psychiatric opinion is required. This includes personal injury, employment tribunal, family court, criminal proceedings, and insurance-related assessments. Please contact us with details of your case and we will confirm whether it falls within our clinical expertise.
Yes. We can provide addendum reports in response to questions raised following the initial report, and are available for joint expert discussions where required. Attendance at court or tribunal can be arranged — please discuss this at the point of instruction so it can be factored into the fee estimate and scheduling.
All assessments and reports are handled with strict professional confidentiality in accordance with GMC guidance, the Data Protection Act, and GDPR. The report will be prepared for the instructing party as specified in the letter of instruction. Any wider disclosure is governed by the legal proceedings for which the report has been prepared.
